Kevin undertakes complex private and public law Children Act work and all types of financial cases including Trust of Land and Inheritance Act claims.  He takes great satisfaction in representing parents in care cases.  He has very extensive knowledge and experience in financial disputes between cohabitants’ cases  involving the co-ownership of land.  

Recent cases

Representation of a father accused of the most serious allegations of sexual abuse against his daughter, and representation of a mother with a long standing history of neglect and emotional abuse in which the children were returned to the parents’ care.

Recently appeared in the Principle Registry of the Family Division in a case with total assets in excess of £4.5 million in which he negotiated an excellent settlement for his client.

Professional background

Kevin graduated in History from St. Andrew’s University in 1982 and was called to the Bar in 1984. Formerly a member of King Charles House Chambers in Nottingham, he joined St. Mary’s Chambers in 2001 to concentrate on and develop his family law practice.He has been a member of the Disciplinary Committee of the Greyhound Regulatory Board since 2009.
