Professional background

Mark graduated in American Studies from The University of Nottingham in 1989 and was awarded his Master’s degree in American Studies at Bowling Green State University, Ohio, USA in 1991. He worked for nine years in hostel / housing management and the provision of support services to homeless people.

Between 1999 and 2001, Mark studied at the Nottingham Law School and obtained a post graduate Diploma in Law in 2000. He was called to the Bar in 2001 and became a tenant at St. Mary’s Chambers in 2003 following successful completion of a specialist family law pupillage.
